Los Angeles Multi Engine Training Course: The Next Step In Your Pilot Career!
We offer a 4 day, multi engine commercial add-on course. The course consists of approximately 7 hours of multi engine training and several hours of ground school covering aircraft systems, multi engine aerodynamics, and emergency procedures. We schedule 4-day periods to account for weather, but our course is typically completed in 2-3 days. The $5,200 All In price includes aircraft rental, fuel, instruction, checkride fee, Airfare from LAX TO KLIT Arkansas, And Hotel Stay near the airport.
You will only need to uber to the airport each day and pay for your meals! This is the most comprehensive multi training out there and We have a 100% Pass Rate on these rides. The training is done by an Air Force pilot who is an Ascent Team Member and the checkride is done by our In House DPE.
More About Our Multi-Engine Training Course
As a pilot, you will spend many hours training for certifications and ratings. A multi-engine rating is in addition to your private pilot’s license. Most commercial planes with larger cargo room have at least two engines. If you wish to advance your piloting skills or go on to fly commercially for airlines, you will need to obtain the multi-engine rating. In short, the multi-engine rating allows for a pilot to fly a twin-engined aircraft.

There is a major reason pilots of a multi-engined aircraft are required to have a rating. Although a twin-engine plane gives you two engines in case of malfunction, flying on one engine is challenging. Issues can arise when only operating with one running engine such as directional control difficulty and overall poor performance of the aircraft. Requirements For Training
If you have a private or commercial certification to fly in a single-engined aircraft, you will only need to sign up for the training. For those occasions, when someone will train in a twin-engined aircraft to achieve a pilot’s license, they must meet all of the requirements to obtain a private pilot’s license from the FAA. Some flight schools only allow initial pilot training to take place in single-engine aircraft.

Training Hours
Although there is not a set number of hours required to obtain a multi-engine rating, we have found that many people will require 10 to 15 hours of in-flight training to acquire the proficiency needed to pass a practical examination. Your training will also include simulator and classroom hours to give you the best chance to pass and gain your multi-engine rating. Exams
The FAA does not require a written multi-engine exam unless you are training to be a pilot. For those who are already licensed pilots, you will have to show knowledge of aerodynamics, performance, emergency operations, and others in your practical exam. Outside of the checkrides (practical exams), your instructor’s recommendation will be required before given your multi-engine rating. This recommendation is key to your future flying career and will only be given when you are ready to fly.
