My Name is Seth and i am the owner of Ascent Aviation. The mission at Ascent since its birth has always been to provide training that actually gets you to that end goal of a pilots license, Instead of treating you like a Dollar Sign we value and take pride in getting you through ratings. Theres no better feeling for me than watching one of our students solo or pass their check rides. Currently i work full time at Ascent along with a group of other instructors i have hand picked, We all have an extremely high pass rate on our checkrides and really push to get you through the first time. I initially did my training in and around Van Nuys airport awhile back and it really was a process trying to find a school i could trust, at the end of the day i learned that really its not the school you choose but it is the instructor that you are paired with. I have taken more people than i can count through their pilot training all the way to the point where they are instructors and airline pilots themselves and id love to help you out with that as well.

Seth is an EXCELLENT instructor. Having two instructors before him I can confidently say I wish I had him all along from the beginning. This man knows how to fly. He will teach you stick & rudder skills. Today I really required a lot of extra work on my steep turns and he never once got fed up or had a temper. I’m truly grateful to have even found him.
