If you want to earn your light aircraft pilot license and think it takes several years, we have good news. It is highly possible to earn your pilot’s license in under a year. It will require hard work on your part and lots of studying, but it can be done. Ascent Aviation Academy has successfully helped many men and women gain their pilot’s licenses.
Which License Do You Want?
We offer several different certifications available to flight students. We offer:
- Sports & Recreational License – these are similar certifications and have stringent rules on what can be flown. If you just want to fly for your personal pleasure, these are a good option.
- Private Pilot’s License – A PPL is the first step in getting your training and license. The minimum number of flight hours logged is 40 hours, and you will need to pass exams.
- Commercial License – When you have completed this training, you can get paid to fly. There are requirements for pilots carrying passengers, which can differ when carrying cargo. This one cannot be completed within a year.
