This flight school, has established itself as one of the premier flight schools at their airfield. Whereas flight schools are required to do inspections on their planes once every 100 hours of use, this flight school does them every 50 hours. They have developed what they call the “phase training method”, a style of teaching that is designed to get students through the flight training program in a highly structured manner. As a result of this method, all of the past and present 4000 students trained by this flight school have succeeded when tested for their certifications for Private Pilot’s License, Instrument Flight Rules, Commercial Pilot’s License, and Certified Flight Instructor. All aircraft belonging to this flight school feature state-of-the-art ADS-B IN and OUT to ensure they stay clear of the terrain and any other aircraft in Southern California’s crowded airspace. Before a student does their first solo or cross-country flight the chief pilot does a stage check to offer a second opinion on what to do, thereby filling in any gaps in the student’s training. The chief flight instructor and owner of this school has over 7,000 hours of dual training given within socal, is a gold seal Certified Flight Instructor and also has combat aerobatic experience. I have come to respect this operation and recommend them to many new aviators wanting to learn to fly.
